Campsite Facilities

Part of having a relaxed and fun camping trip is to have modern campsite facilities at your chosen destination.

At Greenacres, we know what our campers want and have been working hard to develop our family-run campsite over the years. We provide all the essential camping facilities on a relaxed campsite.

Campers of all ages are welcome including your fur babies! There are local walks in the woods and a park, 2 minutes walk away to exercise your dog.

Our family-friendly site has an onsite small play area.

What’s On Site…

  • Modern heated shower block
  • Disabled/family shower room including baby changing and bath
  • Washing-up area
  • Chemical waste disposal
  • Water sourced from  a bore hole so is completely natural and delicious!

  • Onsite shop sells essentials, snacks and drinks
  • Our new Café sells breakfast baps, baguettes, pizza, burgers, chips, Barista style coffee and cakes
  • Small play area which we plan to build on over time but we are just a 5 minute walk from our local park with play equipment for all age ranges and recently added all-inclusive play
  • Dog Friendly site – there are local walks in the woods and a park, 2 minutes walk away to exercise your dog
  • Fire pits to hire and wood to buy onsite

How To Find Us

We can’t wait to welcome you to Greenacres

Directions

If you are coming down the M50 you will likely get off on the A40. Once on the A40 do not get off at Goodrich or Symonds Yat – the roads are narrow and windy and not at all suitable for caravans or campervans! It is better to travel on down to Monmouth and take the A4136 towards Staunton and Coleford. Do not be tempted to follow satnav along the A466. The A4136 will take you through the village of Staunton and then you will see a turning right towards Coleford – the B4228. Take that turning right and travel about half a mile and you will come to a crossroads where again, you need to turn right into Scowles Road. We are half a mile down Scowles Road.

From the M5 and M4 you will come over the old Severn Bridge M48 towards Chepstow and pick up the A48 to Lydney. In Lydney you get the B4231 and stay on that road until you come to the junction with the B4228 – turn right and travel through the town of Coleford – you will pass 2 sets of traffic lights and once you have left Coleford you will come to the same crossroads mentioned above but this time turn left down Scowles Road.

Most SatNavs bring you right here.
