Greenacres is a small, family-run campsite with a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere. We want every guest to enjoy their stay, so we ask everyone to be considerate of the other campers around them. After all, you are on holiday and should have the chance to relax, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors. Our campsite is close to the iconic Symonds Yat and River Wye, Forest of Dean. This makes Greenacres a great base for woodland walks, local attractions, outdoor activities, and days out in the surrounding countryside. Coleford and the wider local area also offer shops, pubs, restaurants, and activities for visitors of all ages.

All of our pitches have electric hook-up available on a pay-as-you-go basis, so you only pay for the electricity you use.
We welcome campervans, motorhomes, caravans, and tents. If you are bringing a larger motorhome, we recommend booking a hard-standing pitch.
Arrival Information
- Reception is open from 9am to 11am and reopens at 1pm. Opening times may vary during quieter periods and in the low season, so please check the notice displayed on the Reception door for the latest information.
- Arrivals are from 1pm. Earlier arrival is strictly by arrangement, as we use this time to clean, mow, and prepare the site for new arrivals.
- Please vacate your pitch by 11am on the day of departure so that we can prepare it for the next guests.

Making your booking
A booking fee is required to secure your pitch. This is 25% of the booking total or £25, whichever is greater, and is non-refundable. As a family-run campsite, we will always do our best to accommodate changes where possible. If you need to amend your booking, please contact us as soon as you can. The full balance is due three weeks before your arrival. Online booking is preferred and can be completed through our booking system. If you have any difficulty booking online, or if you have a special request, please call us or send your details by email and we will be happy to help.
Our campsite rules
- Disruptive or anti-social behaviour may result in leaving immediately with no refund.
- Dogs under close control and on lead in communal areas.
- Quiet times 10pm to 8am.
- Only fire pits hired from Greenacres allowed to protect grass.
- 5 mph speed limit across the site—please keep vehicles at walking pace for safety.
